Educating – Supporting – Preventing
TLC Care Services, a registered charity, was
formed in 1991 with the amalgamation of Triangle, Lockwood, and
Crossroads - three voluntary organisations based in Hackney
which specialised in dementia, physical disability and carer
support services. Since then TLC Care Services and the Stroke
Project has grown to meet emerging needs. We employ around 250
staff and volunteers and specialise in long term person-centred
services.
Our specialisms include:
-
working people with dementia,
-
working with people of all ages who are living
with disabilities, illness or frailty
-
supporting carers
-
supporting people with learning disabilities
and people with mental health problems,
-
support services for stroke survivors,
-
End of Life Care
-
School support services for young people who
require special assistance
-
Domiciliary and respite care.
We have also pioneered new public health,
education and prevention projects in City & Hackney and are funded
by the City Bridge Trust to develop Community based Stroke support
services throughout East London.
We are currently working in 8 East London Boroughs and Essex. Do
contact us to discuss any of our services or your needs.
